Every deal is unique, and sometimes standard fields like "Satisfaction Level" or "Negotiation Type" aren't enough to capture the full picture. PropertyCareApp allows you to extend the Negotiation module with custom fields, enabling you to track specialized data like contract drafts or technical requirements directly within a deal.

Step 1: Navigating to the Custom Fields Setup

To add new data points to your deal-making process:

  • Go to the Extra Fields (or Custom Fields) menu in your admin dashboard. [00:18]

  • Click the Add button to start creating a new field for your negotiation forms.

Step 2: Configuring the Field Properties

Define the type of information you need to collect:

  • Field Name: Choose a name that is easy for your team to understand (e.g., "Supporting Documents" or "Contract Draft"). [00:23]

  • Field Type: Select the format that fits your data. For document storage, choose the File type. Other available types include TextDateNumber, and Dropdown. [00:25]

  • Module Association: Crucially, select Negotiate (or Negotiation) as the related module. This ensures the field only appears where it is relevant. [00:35]

Step 3: Deployment and Usage in Deals

Once saved, the field is instantly available for your sales or management team:

  • Instant Integration: Navigate back to the Negotiations module and click to create a new conversation. [00:38]
